OnlyPedia (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with the website at onlypedia.com (the “Service”). OnlyPedia is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 or over; we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
1. Information We Collect
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Service, we and our providers automatically record technical and usage data such as your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, browser and device characteristics, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, searches and filters used, timestamps, and cookie identifiers. This information does not, by itself, identify you personally.
Information you provide. OnlyPedia has no user accounts and no user-generated content. We only receive personal information you choose to send us — for example when you email us a support, removal, or copyright request — such as your email address and anything you include in your message.
2. Creator Data in Our Directory
The core of OnlyPedia is a directory of creator information already public online (“Creator Data”): display names and handles, public bios, categories and tags, publicly displayed profile imagery, publicly listed pricing, public statistics, publicly stated location, and links to official profiles. We do not index paywalled or subscriber-only content, private messages, non-public contact details, identity documents, or payment information.
Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis for processing Creator Data is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) in operating a public directory of information that creators have themselves published. As this data is not collected directly from the individual, this section also serves as the information notice under Article 14 GDPR. Creators (or authorized representatives) can correct or remove a listing at any time — see “Your Rights” and our DMCA Policy. Removal requests are processed within 48 hours and are always free.
3. How We Use Information
- to operate, maintain, and secure the Service (search, listings, functionality);
- to understand usage and improve performance through analytics;
- to respond to your inquiries and to removal, copyright, and content requests;
- to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- to maintain the 18+ requirement and comply with legal obligations.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site operation, for remembering preferences, and for analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some may limit functionality. Where required by law (including the EU ePrivacy rules and GDPR), analytics and non-essential cookies rely on your consent.
5. When We Share Information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only: with service providers acting on our behalf (such as hosting, content delivery, and analytics) under confidentiality obligations; where required by law or to protect our rights, users, listed creators, or the public; in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets; or with your consent.
6. How Long We Keep Information
We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here. Analytics data is typically retained for up to 24 months; correspondence (including support, removal, and copyright requests) for up to 24 months after the matter is closed, unless a longer period is required by law. Server and security logs are kept for a short period. When data is no longer needed we delete or anonymize it.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, whose data-protection laws may differ. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we use appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses) so that your data remains protected as described here.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; to restrict or object to processing (including objecting to the indexing of Creator Data); to withdraw consent; and to opt out of marketing. EEA/UK/Swiss users may also lodge a complaint with their data-protection authority. California residents may exercise the rights to know, correct, delete, and opt out; we do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email info@onlypedia.com; we may need to verify your identity and respond within the period required by law.
10. Children
The Service is strictly for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 and will delete such data promptly if we become aware of it. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact info@onlypedia.com.
11. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
There is no settled standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, so we do not respond to them. Where required by law, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version and its “Last updated” date are always posted here; we will give additional notice of material changes where appropriate.
