What creators can see
- Your public profile: username, display name, avatar, cover image and bio — whatever you chose to put there.
- Your subscription: that you are subscribed (or were), when it started, and its current status, including whether it has expired.
- Your interactions with them: messages, likes, comments, tips and the PPV items you unlocked.
- How much you have spent on their page. This is how creators recognize their most loyal fans.
- Activity status: depending on your privacy settings, whether you are online or were recently active. You can switch activity status off in your settings.
What creators cannot see
| Information | Visible to creators? |
|---|---|
| Real (legal) name | No — unless you use it as your display name |
| Email address | No |
| Phone number | No |
| Card number or name on the card | No |
| Billing address or precise location | No |
| Other creators you subscribe to | No |
| That you viewed their free profile | No list of profile visitors |
Payments go to OnlyFans, not the creator, so your payment details never reach them. Creators may see aggregated, anonymous statistics about their audience, but not the identity behind an account.
Can creators see if you screenshot?
No. OnlyFans does not notify creators when a fan takes a screenshot or a screen recording. That does not make it allowed to share: redistributing a creator’s content breaks OnlyFans’ Terms of Service and copyright law, can get your account banned, and many creators watermark content with the viewer’s username so leaks can be traced.
Can creators see when you unsubscribe?
Creators can see the status of each subscription, including subscriptions that have expired or are set not to renew, and some send messages or offers to fans whose subscription is ending. Cancelling does not remove your past messages or purchases from their view. How to cancel is covered in how to cancel OnlyFans.
What other fans can see
Other fans cannot see your subscriptions. If you comment or like publicly visible posts, your username and avatar appear next to that activity for anyone who can see the post. Messages are private between you and the creator (and anyone the creator lets manage their account, such as an agency).
How to stay as private as possible
- Choose a username and display name that do not include your real name.
- Use a profile picture that is not your face, or none.
- Turn off activity status in your privacy settings.
- Remember that messages can be read by the creator’s team — do not share personal details.
- Your card statement will still show OnlyFans; see what OnlyFans looks like on a bank statement.
Frequently asked questions
Can OnlyFans creators see your email?
No. Your email address is private to OnlyFans and is not shown to creators.
Can OnlyFans creators see your real name?
No, unless you use your real name as your display name or username. The name on your card is never shared with creators.
Can OnlyFans creators see who paid them?
They see which subscriber accounts paid them, by username, and how much each has spent on their page. They do not see the payer’s real identity or card.
Can OnlyFans creators see your location?
Not your precise location or address. They may see anonymous audience statistics, but not where an individual fan lives.
Can OnlyFans creators see if you screenshot?
No, there is no screenshot notification. Sharing their content is still prohibited and can be traced through watermarks.
Can OnlyFans creators see who views their profile?
No. Creators see their subscribers and followers, not a list of everyone who looked at their public profile.
