How Much Does OnlyFans Cost? Prices, Extras & Fees — OnlyPedia guide

OnlyFans is free to join; you only pay for the creators you choose. Each creator sets their own subscription price: free, or between $4.99 and $49.99 a month. Across the paid pages OnlyPedia tracks, the average is about $13.29 a month, and about 31% of creators charge nothing. Tips and pay-per-view (PPV) messages are optional extras on top, and depending on where you live, tax such as VAT can be added at checkout.

Is OnlyFans free?

Creating an account, browsing and following creators costs nothing. OnlyFans has no membership fee of its own: there is no “OnlyFans subscription” that unlocks the whole site. Instead, you pay per creator, and only if that creator charges. Free pages let you see the feed without paying and earn from optional extras instead — see free OnlyFans accounts for how they work. How the platform fits together is explained in how OnlyFans works.

How much a subscription costs

Creators choose a monthly price between $4.99 and $49.99, or make their page free. Many also offer:

  • Bundles — 3, 6 or 12 months paid up front, usually at a discount.
  • Promotions — a limited-time discount on the first month.
  • Free trial links — a set number of free days, shared by the creator on social media.

Because subscriptions renew every month, the yearly cost adds up:

Monthly pricePer year (12 renewals)
$4.99 (minimum)$59.88
$9.99$119.88
$19.99$239.88
$49.99 (maximum)$599.88

Prices are before any tax added at checkout. In OnlyPedia’s sample of 342,273 creators the average paid subscription is $13.29/month; the full price distribution is charted in our OnlyFans statistics report. To compare prices by niche, browse the category directory.

Tips, pay-per-view and other extras

A subscription unlocks a creator’s feed, but not everything they sell. The optional extras are where spending can grow fastest:

  • Pay-per-view (PPV) — locked posts or messages with their own price, set by the creator (commonly reported to go up to about $200 per item).
  • Tips — one-off payments of an amount you choose, often during chats or livestreams.
  • Custom content — priced individually and sold through messages.

Free pages rely mainly on PPV and tips, so a “free” creator is not necessarily cheaper than a paid one if you buy a lot of extras. None of these extras is required.

Taxes, bank fees and what you will see on your statement

  • Tax at checkout. Depending on your country or state, OnlyFans may add VAT, GST or sales tax to the price the creator set — in the UK, for example, VAT is added on top. Check the total before you confirm a payment.
  • Currency and bank fees. Prices are in US dollars and OnlyFans bills from the UK, so if your card is in another currency your bank converts the amount and may charge a foreign transaction fee.
  • Your statement. Charges appear as ONLYFANS.COM, OF or Fenix International (the operator), depending on your bank — there is no disguised billing name. See does OnlyFans show on a bank statement.
  • How you pay. Debit or credit card with 3-D Secure, or wallet credits topped up by card; PayPal is not accepted. Details in OnlyFans payment methods.

How much OnlyFans costs creators

Opening a creator account is free: there is no sign-up fee, monthly fee or listing fee. OnlyFans instead keeps 20% of everything a creator earns — subscriptions, tips and PPV — and the creator receives 80%. The real costs of running a page are the creator’s own: equipment, promotion, time, and income tax on what they earn. Payout rules and a worked example are in how much OnlyFans pays.

How to keep your OnlyFans spending under control

  1. Decide a monthly budget before you subscribe, including extras.
  2. Turn off auto-renew right after subscribing if you only want one month; you keep access until the period ends. See how to cancel OnlyFans.
  3. Use wallet credits as a cap: top up a fixed amount and spend from the wallet.
  4. Start with free pages or trial links to see a creator’s content before paying.
  5. Check your subscriptions list regularly for renewals you no longer want.

Payments are generally final: forgotten renewals and regretted purchases are not refunded, and disputing a charge with your bank usually gets the account banned. See OnlyFans refunds.

Frequently asked questions

How much is OnlyFans a month?

It depends on the creators you follow. Each subscription is free or $4.99–$49.99 a month; the average paid subscription in OnlyPedia’s sample is $13.29. There is no site-wide fee.

Is OnlyFans free?

Joining and browsing are free, and about 31% of creators in OnlyPedia’s sample have free pages. Paid subscriptions, tips and pay-per-view content cost money.

How much does it cost to subscribe to OnlyFans?

A single subscription costs whatever the creator sets: free, or between $4.99 and $49.99 a month, sometimes discounted in 3-, 6- or 12-month bundles. Tax may be added at checkout depending on where you live.

Why was I charged more than the listed price?

Usually because tax such as VAT or sales tax was added for your location, or because your bank charged a currency conversion or foreign transaction fee. A renewal, bundle, tip or PPV purchase on the same day can also explain it.

Does OnlyFans charge you automatically?

Yes. Paid subscriptions renew every month until you turn off auto-renew for that creator.

Does it cost money to become an OnlyFans creator?

No. Creator accounts are free; OnlyFans keeps 20% of what a creator earns and pays out the other 80%.
